Parent stories

Real families. Calmer days. More settled nights.

For more than 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families through those exhausting, emotional and incredibly special first weeks with a new baby.

I can explain my experience and how I work, but the people best placed to describe what having Aunty Pauline in your corner feels like are the parents themselves.

What a result means

It is about more than a good night’s sleep.

01

More settled sleep

A routine that supports longer stretches of sleep and calmer nights for the whole family.

02

Greater confidence

Parents who understand what to do—and why—without second-guessing every decision.

03

A better understanding

Recognising what your baby is communicating and responding with more clarity.

04

A calmer home

Less conflicting advice, less uncertainty and a practical plan everyone can follow.

A happy baby being cared for

The change that lasts

Confidence when I am no longer there.

Of course, parents remember the sleep: the first night their baby slept through, the first evening they had to themselves and the first morning everyone woke feeling rested.

But the comments that mean the most are often about something else entirely—feeling calmer, understanding why their baby was crying, knowing when something was not quite right and no longer second-guessing every decision.

My job has never been to make parents dependent on me. It is to give them the knowledge and confidence to know what to do when I am no longer there.

“That’s such an Aunty Pauline thing to say.”

Years later, former clients still tell me

Need some Aunty Pauline advice?

You do not need to have everything figured out.

If your baby is not sleeping, will not settle, cries constantly, only sleeps on you, wakes repeatedly, struggles with naps—or you simply feel something is not working—we can start by working out why.
