About Aunty Pauline

Almost 30 years of experience. Thousands of babies.

Hi, I’m Pauline. Most people know me as Aunty Pauline. I help parents replace uncertainty with clear, practical guidance — and build the confidence to understand what their baby needs.

My story

How Aunty Pauline came to be.

I spent 13 years in neonatal intensive care, looking after sick, small and premature babies. It gave me an extraordinary foundation in how babies feed, settle, sleep and communicate.

After leaving the NHS, I began working as a maternity nurse. I’m now in my 16th year of living and working alongside families through those all-important first months.

That meant living with the consequences of my advice, day and night. If something did not work, I was still there the next morning. I had to observe carefully, understand why and find what genuinely did.

“I’ve held thousands of babies in my arms — and learned my craft from the babies themselves.”
